Every girl always thinks about what her life will be like when she gets married. Who will her husband be? What will her kids look like? Random things like that... The truth is, it's NOTHING like you hope it will be. You will butt heads, you won't get what you feel you deserve. Sometimes, you won't be treated how you deserve. Sometimes one person will sacrifice their happiness just for the other one, only to be taken advantage of. You have to know when to let go, you have to know when enough is enough. Don't let someone take advantage of you, don't let them push you to your breaking point. Saturday, I went to a wedding and the father of the groom made me realize. "When you get married, it's not "I," it's "we," it's not "me" it's "us," it's not mine, it's "ours." It takes some people SO long to get this, so long it's too late. We are only human and we can only take so much. You shouldn't feel "alone" when you're married, you shouldn't feel "forgotten" or "used" when you're married. Not now, not ever.
About Me
- Ashley
- This blog is the thoughts inside my head. It's more-so a place for me to vent and get my frustrations out to the best of my ability without blowing up. The grammar isn't always the best and neither is the sentence structure. It's just the raw thoughts and emotions of a southern girl living life with a husband who's 500 miles away.
